I, for one, still think it's awesome.

When someone screws you over, actions that you take in the immediate aftermath can rarely be viewed as "posturing".

oh my good sweet christ.

youre right, i should have composed myself, put on some Smiths, and talk about it like adults. fuck that. my then girlfriend at the time not only tells me that she jerked a dude off, but laughs while telling the story. she's lucky that i dropped her ass off at a public transportation station and not off on the side of a random road. it's not macho posturing. its revenge. sounds like you would have just let it slide, its cool man.

really the pussification of this board just kills me sometimes.

No one said anything about ever talking to her again or trying to work things out. You don't just leave a girl alone in the middle of nowhere though. I don't care what she did.

and cmon, its not like she was in the ghetto fearing for her life. this was a tiny rural town in illinois. i'm sure she was able to get money from a wire transfer from her parents or something. i could really give a shit. regardless, the "you just don't do that!" rebuttal is sorry

Was it the laughing part that really set you off? Would she have still ended up at the train station at 4am if she was remorseful while telling you about the hj?

well yeah i think the laughing and the display of blatant disrespect directly influenced what i did. if she was remorseful about it and didn't specifically call out "I JERKED OFF ______?" probably not, depending how angry the liquor made me at the time

Robotboy, how did you explain the absence of your girlfriend the next day to your parents?

I'm not saying I wouldn't have banged her best friend the next weekend and sent her pictures. Just no need to put someone in physical harm's way, especially someone you gave a shit about.

Then again, I'm probably abnormally predisposed to not be so hard on cheaters...or..well...you know.

Sorry, but stranded alone in the dark is dangerous for any woman anywhere.

OK...your disregard for a woman's safety, a woman who you supposedly really cared about because your itty bitty ego got bruised makes you a much more manly man than I could ever be...happy now?

This admission of the handjob just came out unprompted?

jesus. look. i dont know how to spell it out for you any other way than what i already have. it wasnt so much the fact that she cheated. that shit happens all the time. it was the fact that she was laughing in my face about it, making it a joke and completely disrespecting me in my parents' house. if anyone thinks that this was me being "oversensitive" or whatever you are dead fucking wrong and completely missed the point. i dont take kindly to that sort of shit and she deserved what she got.
