If I had to guess, I probably would have called her a cunt and every synonym for whore that I could think of, told her I was going to bed alone and that she needed to figure out a plan for getting home on her own the next morning. In the morning, I'd probably have taken her to the bank or to pick up a wire transfer and dropped her at the train station or bus terminal or whatever her plan was and then never talked to her again. If she gave me more lip, maybe I would have done what you did. I wouldn't be proud of it today though if I did. |

tomorrow marks one week in the new apartment. i've been up to see the kids a couple of times this week, and things generally are going ok, but i haven't slept well (better the last couple of nights, though) and have a weird feeling like i'm adrift or something. it's hard to describe. i'm not necessarily depressed or really even all that unhappy, but i guess just kind of uneasy/unsettled. it's a very odd sensation. |
