Similar to something I accuse people of "Lighting Homeless People on Fire Just to Make Yourself Feel Better"

Pretty much the whole Joss Stone album. It's "invented' soul, but damn if she can't shriek and moan fantastic and put six-billion notes into every breath. Plus I won't own up to to any impure thoughts, cause she's a kid and shit.

Impure thoughts are a guilty pleasure though.

I guess you could add the Scissor Sisters to this list. Guilty pleasure of the year.

In addition to impure thoughts, this is definitely my g.p. o' the year. I love this album.

sometimes i listen to the radio and listen to what is going on.
i think some of the rap songs are really funny, but i secretly like them and want to get my groove on.

i also go to crappy bars in town just to see hor ridiculous they are. but i'm secretly having a good time.

Consider yourself lucky...one of those jet black caterpilars that have taken up permanent residence due north of Peter Gallagher's eyes might have crawled onto your french toast while you were distracted staring at the show's hunky young lead.

A friend of a friend knows someone whose brother works on the O.C. & she's working on getting us to meet Seth Cohen. Apparently I am 14 years old.... it's kinda entertaining.

I am ashamed and disgusted by the cavalier attitude in this thread toward our homeless brethern. Their lives are just as valuable as yours or mine, plus they'll blow you for some soup.

Not entirely relatedly, I have been alternately having brainic masturbation fantasies about Shawna, a young woman (now 22?) upon whom I had a crush [sic] during Spring term junior year and Fall term senior year, and Diana, an either super-devout Yankee Protestant (Lutheran) twenty-two years old barista and photographer or individual rebelling against said religiosity amidst which she was educated (but all the professional detail remaining the same). And, with the first, before my relationship to her ever became solely the realm or solo fantasy (without hand; I have been indulging in these while behind the wheel, driving the Great Plains, and only partly because I cannot find any AM or FM reception to entertain me), I actually got to so far as cuddling [sic] with her over pizza and light fondling during the tail of a Packers-Jaguars Monday Night game. So, sort of making out in a back-seat.

That said, I didn't attempt further physical interaction, because she had a boyfriend at UW-Madison with whom she was pretty hot n' heavy, plus an ex at hers and my shared alma mater with whom she had a friends wit' benefits arrangement.

... Of course, if only I had known the Senator's "he ain' my bro" school of thought for hitting on and banging with attached women. So bad, too sad....

Adam Brody is so fuckin hot in person... I met him, Mischa Burton, & Benjamin McKenzie at a Death Cab show last Nov, then I saw the chick who plays Anna at some art show a few weeks ago.

*sigh*

Whoever said the new Fabolous song is a guilty pleasure is false. That's one of the best mainstream hip hop cuts in ages.

As for me, in a related side:

Trick Daddy, Lil Jon, Twista - Lets Go
-I've always liked Trick Daddy. I don't know why. He's kinda like the ODB of the dirty south for me. I find him hilarious, and even have a frisbee signed by him. But it's a guilty pleasure, because I can't stand Lil Jon's voice or beats.

LL Cool J - Hush
-I didn't think LL was capable of ever producing anything decent ever again. He always changes his style with every album to best fit in and sell records, and I hate it. For a dude who was soooooooo dope in the mid-80s, he really fell off. But this song, I don't know why, it's his typical second single - the love track. But I really really like it.

That Jimmy Eat World album is kicking my ass too. I looooooove it.
