Mlle XIX - had a question for you. I believe a while back you mentioned that you lived in the south end. My wife and I are looking at buying a place on Mass ave between Washington and Shawmut. I was curious what your thoughts were of this area. We currently live at Tremont and Clarendon, but don't want to rent anymore.

Thanks for any thoughts.

Oh, and if I am totally off base about where you live, just respond with the Nugene emoticon.

that's all of about a two minutes walk from our place (we're on worcester bet. washington and harrison). not having seen the place you're looking at, mass ave right there is not a place i (we) would mind living. though mass ave is inherently noisier (and from what i understand dustier) than a less busy street, it is, in my opinion, not unsafe. that was as far west as i was willing to buy knowing that mlle would often be walking home alone.

we did a pretty extensive search around boston/cambridge looking for our current digs and have a pretty decent idea of what "good" looks like around here--if you want any more advice just drop me a line and i'd (we'd) love to help.

c.

oof, I didn't see this.
I don't know who this "neuroboy" is but don't listen to him.

yeah, you'd seriously be right there. the only thing I would worry about are the constant ambulances but I Love the neighborhood. the silver line rules...and you would have a dunkin donuts right there. plus, then you could hear all our stories about Cinnamon, our favorite cross dressing addict who likes to skip around the neighborhood
