The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini

or

Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time by Mark Haddon

Yes. Both are decent, I preferred the latter.

My boss enjoyed the Kite Runner which is why I would never read it.

Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time is one of those "hip" modern books that I try to stay away from.

Wife loved the Kite Runner. Supposed to be good, but I'm not that intrigued.

Curious Incident is great in its simplicity. You know the basic idea, right? You can cruise through that book in a single sitting.

Then you need to apply at deena's starbucks for a job. She's tough but fair, she made mark into an honest young man.

You could start by offering a bit of what you think are quality alternatives instead of just scorn. Anyone can do scorn.

Not that you're obligated to do jack shit.

Ayah has lived three of your lives and your contempt is not the least bit hurtful. It's funny. Since you also know jack shit.

20 years from now you'll be lecturing some little shit about ridiculous stuff. It's mostly inevitable.

That was a lecture? All you did was make some stupid comments defending your "worldly" friend.
