On the train with frickin' headphones on. How hard am I?! And it was a pleasant schluffy. I only woke up from the silence before the hidden track on Burned Mind. From quiet, people!!

Where is there to go from here?

That's pretty badass. I used to fall asleep to Slayer's Seasons in the Abyss, but Wolf Eyes puts that to shame.

Chase, what are you heading up to Montreal for? I'm really wanting to make a trip up there as well, and March is feasible.

did you get my message?

i'm thinking of going up there for alternative spring break, involving teaching school down there with very young kids...potentially teaching english and/or french or other things in those languages. i wouldn't have a ton of free time but i would certainly do my thing on the nights, and probably have lunches off and some days. it would be like the second or third week in march. skiing might be in order? ish, you ski?

I was just going to suggest!! I sooooo ski. We can definitely pop down to Jay Peak in VT or something or to any number of places in QC.

Chase, you and Stu are more than welcome to come play in March. I look forward to it.

You do not need a passport to get into Canada. And no, Canada is not Bitch to the States. We're running game as your $$ plummets. We are the hallmark of democracy and harmony. In comparison to y'all.

Come play, you're more than welcome.

Do you like very abrasive noise music? If not, then don't bother.

I've fallen asleep to Lightning Bolt before. I'm pretty sure I could fall asleep to some Wolf Eyes.

As far as allowing for sleep, I generally don't think it matters how noisy or abrasive something is, but rather how uniform. To test this, I should try sleeping to Kevin Drumm. I probably can't.

How about out of Canada? I'm going to be in Vancouver for New Year's, and someone told me you needed a passport... but we're taking the train in from Seattle, but I'm flying out of Vancouver back to LA.

I'm pretty sure that all you need is a birth certificate for Canada or Mexico

Dri, going to the States is always more of an ordeal than coming into Canada. Especially if you're flying one-way into the States. You won't need a passport, you just might get a little more of a hassle.

Chase, yes, we are totally gonna ride! It won't be that expensive for you, don't think. Jay, for instance, takes CDN money at par and it's only, like, $40 for students. If you're worried about rentals, I can lend you my old 193cm Atomics. That might help.

So, yeah, about Wolf Eyes.

that would be awesome if i could borrow a pair from you, seriously cut into the costs.

i plan on going a bunch over xmas break this year, i didn't go at all last year. i'l definitely be damn rusty, but i should improve over december and be in decent shape by march.

Mmm. I won't have boots or poles for you, though. I hardly got out last year: 4 times, which is tied for my life's minimum. And I've got sick new Atomic Supercrosses that have been itching to fly. Hopefully now that I have a salary and no schoolwork, bi-weekly trips won't be out of the question. Will you have a car?
