The other day, I found a ticket stub from a Pavement show in 1999. I don't even remember that show...must've not been memorable. |

They did become "uneven", but on a good night they were still one of the most interesting bands ever. I've seen Pavement 12-14 times. Name a band that's broken after 1999 that has even a touch of their intelligence, heart, and force. (Interpol, Arcade Fire or Freak Folk responses will be deleted). |
