And although I seem to exceed expectations in all areas of my work, my dress code seems to be an issue. This is what my supervisor wrote on my review:

"...there is no question Chris sometimes finds the dress code very restrictive, but he tries to deal with it and only very rarely dresses less casual than is preferred."

Dammit, I'm gonna take that tie and burn it. Why can't I wear T-shirts and jeans to work? Why dammit why?

I agree. If you do not have to deal with outside individuals, why does dress codes matter? I mean, you can look clean and presentable in a t-shirt and jeans....doesnt automatically make you a slob.

i vow to never work in a place that will make me wear a tie.

Well, at least you know you are clear on the web browsing at work issue.

See, this is funny now...

And that guy is far too well dressed. I notice also that he has no puka-shell necklace.

Yeah, and I hate that fucking tie. I don't even take it home with me. I put it in my desk and put it on when I get to work. The funny thing is sometimes doesn't even come close to matching the shirt I'm wearing for the day. My supervisors want to kill me but it's okay.
