what are the surefire signs you're getting sick?

I feel really hot and my glands are swollen and my head and throat hurts...I was sick to my stomach last night.

(and I am sure it has nothing to do with the fact that I have been staying up until 2 and drinking for about 2 weeks straight...)

Maybe you're pregnant.

i had this weird virus about 2 weeks ago that was similar to that. i felt just healthy enough to be awake and focused for like a week. right when i finally thought i was getting better i had this 36-hour bout where my head felt like a wet sack of concrete. right after that i was fine though. so now i don'y knoe what to expect.

You can be pregnant and still have a sinus infection.

I experienced this about a week ago.

I woke up with a fever, sinuses completely blocked.

Barring a visit to your doctor for real meds you best bet is rest and lots of fluids. I basically bought a bunch of vegetable soup, a huge container of OJ, some advil cold & sinus pills and took a day off of work to just lay in bed.

I also bought this nose gel stuff called Zicam. It comes in a little nasal spray type bottle. It helps to boost the immune system with Zinc and helps shorten the length of your infection/sickness. You can get it at most grocery stores.

I went to the doctor and have antibiotics. I have some serious sinus issues so this will happen about 3 more times this winter...I take sudafed everyday, even when I am not sick bc of these issues

my soon to be father-in-law is a doctor and he swears by zycam.
