He should appoint Dukakis to a position in his cabinet. That would be the biggest "Fuck You" I can think of to the Bush family.

I am crossing my fingers and hoping that by tomorrow night, we will have Kerry as a clear winner. I'm liking him more and more as the days go by. It's not about being anti-Bush anymore as he's become a self-parody. Although I am still anti-Cheney. The man is scum. If I had a lesbian daughter, I'd slap my running mate, that little monkey, silly and make him get a clue.

please, kerry. bush away

I think Kerry is in great shape. He has literally all the momentum since the debates.

So when are the results for each state going to be released? After Hawaii votes? Barring a recount.

I thought this year they weren't releasing any results until everyone has voted? Maybe, I'm wrong.

Pennsylvania is Philadelphia and Pittsburgh with Alabama in between. And remember that Alabama was once part of the Solid South, whereas Pittsburgh is home to Carnegie's, Heinz's et al, and Philly has the Main Line, old school Main Street Republicans

If Kerry wins we will know early, if Bush wins, it may take a month for them to seize it. i.e. Either we see a strong turnout and obvious Kerry win, or it remains quite close and lawyers decide.

Almost as important kids is the Senate, which Dems are almost assured to lose ground in. I predict Tom Daschle will be a private citizen by this time tomorrow

The recount has already begun in Florida.

13,000 Ballots Rushed From Voting Site, Must Be Recounted
Memory Card On Optical Scan Machine Fails

About 13,000 ballots were removed from an early-voting site in Daytona Beach, Fla., Monday and rushed to a secure vault in Deland after an optical scan machine failed, according to Local 6 News.

Local 6 News has learned that a memory card, on the machine failed and all 13,000 votes must be recounted.

A computer error is to blame for the failure of the memory card which records the voting data, Local 6 News reported.

When the error was discovered Monday, representatives from both parties were notified.

Both sides then witnessed the removal of the ballots and their storage in the vault.

The canvassing board will meet Monday to discuss how to recount the ballots.

Election officials said that the discovery will not compromise the count, according to Local 6 News.

Outside Pittsburgh, Philly, and college towns, it's pretty much all Republican. I've been told by some natives that it has more Ku Klux Klan chapters than any other state.

Oh you poor naive soul...It all depends on how much the committees can bang folks like Clear Channel for. Not a R or D issue, its a money issue.

Nah, I'm not naive it was more of a "I'm going to post this to show what I wished would happen if Kerry were to win."

I found this site pretty funny:
