I don't know why I'm so damn fascinated by this whole debacle but if you are a little bit as well check out this 4 min.clipfrom 60 minutes. it's got an interview with lorne and an interesting shot of ashlee crying after the dress rehearsal.

Hit it, you know you want to.

Watched this last night. It was odd that 60 minutes just happened to be doing a week-long study of SNL that week. It was interesting to see what goes on behind the scenes - how the entire show goes from nothing to live in 6 days.

I'm not sure I bought Lorne saying he had no idea she was going to lip-synch, though. The 60 minute piece pretty much proved how overbearing and control-intensive this guy is in regards to even the smallest details of that show. I can't imagine something so important would not be run past him.
