Good lawd jayziz take mah soul home now.

Train deserve no stars, ever. Not because they can't construct a melody or play their instruments. They can. But because their lyrics are about the most godawful collection of cliches and pretentious, cobbled-together, mixed-metaphor bullshit in the history of everything (and the history of other everythings, as well).

I personally hate Train as much as Creed. The lead singer is one of the worst hacks ever. I recall an interview where he bashed Cobain as a no talent bum and then praised James Taylor. Frighteningly, he was serious.

With their new format, it was just on the main page when I checked the site. The newest CD reviews rotate slightly with each visit or page refresh. Since I work in a radio format that can't escape Train, my morbid curiosity made me click on the link to the remainder of the review.

"Ordinary" is still one of the single worst rock songs ever recorded.
