ok, ill take a break from the wraith im spitting in the who are we missing thread(which, if you dont know what im doing, you should go and find out) to ask you a question. ive got an art history mid term tommorow morning, and i need your help. whats the sculpture on top of churches called? a lot of mormon temples have them. heres an example:

The guy is the angel Moroni, and the "top of a church" is a steeple, but I don't think there's a special name for a sculpture on a steeple. And I think you've just got replies from two of the most likely people on this board to know.

all right. thanks for the help. i dont know if its right, but ill go with steeple. hey, btw, dont mormon churches look awesome? i grew up in a town where the catholic church was a big igloo, so, i mean, i think i know my cool looking churches.

Igloo? Man, you got me beat. There's one here that's horrible 1950's futurist-design (looks like The Flying Nun's hat made of bricks and stucco) and another one that was built out of a potato house, but no igloo.
