i got up at 5:30 to get in line early. the bile in my mouth woke me.

matt lauer on the today show keeps talking about this scenario where bush would end up with edwards as his VP. you may as well make the pres a retard on death row in texas and tell him not to make any long-term plans.

The guy who was wise and chose Marilyn Chambers as his running mate.

Why do only blue-haired ladies, disabled retired veterans, and extremely obese people (who can barely move) man the polling booths?

it would take some apocalyptic thing where the dems win the house or something and there was a tie in the electoral college and the moon was in the third quarter... it's a totally ridiculous scenario but he's got nothing better to talk about.

Being Canadian, I can't vote in this election, obviously. But I implore each and every one of you to go out and exercise your right to vote.

And more importantly, whomever wins, don't let him coast through the next four years. Even if you're a Kerry supporter don't except much to change under his administration. I get the impression the biggest reason he was nominated is the expectation he could beat Bush, but that says little about his ability to govern a nation. So, stay on his ass and don't let him forget why you voted for him.

It was a thin black woman at the polling place I went to.

I live in a neighborhood consisting of probably 50% aliens, so I waited in a line of three people, voted under the name AARON K WILLIAM (you'd think that what with ScanTron technology these days they'd get my name right) and got the hell out in less than 10 minutes.

If it gets thrown into Congress (via a 269/269 EC tie) the House decides president via state delegation. Currently 30 states are controlled by Republicans. The VP is decided by the Senate...so this would be quite miraculous, as the Dems have barely any hope of retaking the Senate.

You know, now i know why people hate the voting process.

I went in this morning, and the actual voting booth was pre-historic.

Pull a lever to the right..... twist these awkward little black dials...the print is so small...

no wonder, elections get screwed up....

i think I voted for Kerry, but who knows anymore....

We're heading over there as soon as I can function. Kinda hungover.

Oh, Steve Earle is on CNN right now talking about how politics has influenced some of his music.
