This, more than anything else, has made me hate "hipsters" and even americans at large (sorry fuckers, but you all say it).

Where I'm from, the word "fucking faggot" still flies as applicable. And while I'm used to it being spewed by the endlessly dumb and muscle-bound, I don't have a problem with it these days as much as I used to. So, I saw these dudes walking down the street today (which is rare here anyway) and they had off-kilter longish haircuts, skinny jeans and canvas low tops on, ratty t shirts and giant shades.

Then I passed the gas station, saw their van and equiptment trailer and said "Ah, wanna be hipster band."

I think it's applicable.
