Mine's a'ight but I knew it was gonna be from some loss carryover type shit. So..

Mine is 7 grand. That's from a combination of having a kid and my wife's job involving a lot of driving of her personal vehicle.

I did figure out a way to write off daycare for next year, though!

i had to pay 600 last year, but i get the child credit for 09 now so i'm hoping i get around 2500

then i can finish my remodel and take the boy on a summer vacation

i was hoping to get the house credit. i "bought" my house during the qualifying year, but more specifically i refinanced it out of my ex's name. CPA says i'm disqualified.

I almost always have to pay. Don't withhold enough from my paycheck. I got nothing else.

Only getting $300, most of the year I was working illegally in Singapore and getting paid under the table.

Supposedly it's better to pay than get a refund. So you're not giving the government an interest-free loan or whatever.

My withholding is generally really close to what I end up owing so I usually don't get much of a refund or have to pay much. That's by no doing of my own. It just works out that way.

wife had a nice consulting gig last year, so we paid a tidy sum every 3 months in the hopes of just about breaking even come april 15.

With my label, and kid, and house, etc....i will probably get back about 9-11k. right in the bank to pay bills...
