Oh, &, yeah, congratulations... Glad it's the (rarer) Obner (re)marriage than another divorce. Though, when I first saw the bumped thread yesterday, & noted Rapin' Rod was the most recent poster, I figured it had happened, finally. Glad it hadn't.

Thanks, everybody! I really miss cereal, Monty. I haven't had any in months. Trying to stick with my new dietary habits. I'm 0.8 pounds away from making another self-congratulatory post on that particular topic...

Man, this thread is a stark 22 page run of human emotion.

Happy as hell for you Bob.

In your honor, a selection from the cinema classic, "Club Paradise", I bring you Jimmy Cliff:

Wither OATMILL??

As long as you're doing it PROPER with fresh fruit medleys & the occasional Eggs (White) Benedict, I'll allow it. But, sometimes, don't you just need some Cracklin' Oat Bran? (Plus, it will help expel future fat in the pre-fat form of poop.)

Congrats Bob! Seeing this thread made me go back and read about my divorce. Hard to believe she's popping out a daughter in November, a scant 23 months after the split. Also hard to believe that I'm not hung up on her, but I'm slightly hung up on the recent ex. Wired to think about all the shit I've been through.

Anyone hear from fryxell? I hope that guy is doing ok, it's been about a year.

I've got three friends going through or announcing divorces now; it's like the arab spring of terrible 35 year old pussy. I can't even imagine dating now, I think I would have to drop my kids off at my mom's house and just move out to the woods and stop bothering people. good luck brothers!

I didn't know how to date when I was 20, I can only imagine the spectacular failure it would be now.

There is no way on god's green earth that I'm even going to try dating. Can't meet 'em at work, don't meet 'em anywhere else, and online is a line I'm not willing to cross. Eventually maybe I'll meet one through friends I can blame when it turns out she's crazy too.

I won't date anyone in my town, and meeting through a friend isn't really an option, so online dating it is. It's not working. Plus, I'm hung up on someone, so I probably don't want it to work.

Congrats, Bob.

three of my best friends left their wives in the past year. all three started dating 24-28 y.o. women and all three have moved in with them already. its like a cancer. i think my wife wants me to get new friends now.

the one benefit is that these guys now actually can go out to concerts or to the bar for a few drinks. i just have to put up with a bunch of 25 year olds for the evening.

Any honeymoon planned? You could lose that in fluids.

I'm always disappointed when I see this thread resurrected and no actual divorce has taken place.
