Absolutely, request away. I'll up that one in the AM. I'm having intermittent ISP issues right now.

That's basically why I renamed the thread.

And the bad news? The second set is only present. And for the life of me I can't find the first set anywhere, not even FLAC.

You still want?

I've never heard the first set either. The second set is sans Weir (he was sick or something) and is just basically one long jam with some fantastic versions of Jack-A-Roe and If I Had The World To Give bookending. I had a cassette of it that I taped off the Grateful Dead Hour radio show back in the mid 90's but haven't heard it in a while.

Cool, I'll up the second set. I actually found a torrent of the show but no one's seeding it.

I've owned this JGB - Let it Rock show for a long time, but it's never scratched my itch quite like tonight. Really loving how it's Jerry but also not the dead.

wow, this is pretty interesting/awesome:

Quote:
On Saturday night, Bob Weir, the Grateful Dead legend, played a show at his own TRI Studios in San Rafael, California. At the show, he was backed by a one-off band called the Bridge Session. As Rolling Stone reports, that group included the National’s Aaron Dessner and Bryan and Scott Devondorf, as well as Doveman and members of the Walkmen, Takka Takka, and the Yellowbirds. About 100 people crammed into the tiny room, and the band played a bunch of Dead classics, as well as covers of Bob Dylan, the National (naturally), and, of all people, Cass McCombs.

full clips of a few songs here.

You should fly Dump Jack in and have him bring the "Dead Drive". That shit almost crashed my computer.

I may consider trying this.

http://dougscripts.com/itunes/scripts/ss.php?sp=tracksplicer

I listen to a great deal of shuffle play, and it's not so enjoyable when you hear "Slip" without the "Help" and "Franklin's", plus you can only join tracks when importing from CD.

I just downloaded this show from etree for my wife, who was there. Her boyfriend at the time unscrewed the pickguard of his guitar to hide some LSD. #lolcustoms

I like Wes Lang, the artist who did all the illustrations. He steals liberally from two of my favorite artists Cy Twombly and Basquiat.

I actually have a soundboard of it...Sometimes I forget I have a soundboard of EVERY FUCKING GRATEFUL DEAD SHOW thanks to Dump Jack.

Listening to "Green River" right now. It's about what I'd expect; Fogerty sounds good, the music is muddle-y.
