I'm having a hard time thinking of 6 albums from 05.
So far:

I'll come back and edit as I can recall more that I want to include.

I like that Caribou album a lot, but that Fiery Furnaces album is a special kind of terrible.

Completely forgot that Gang Gang Dance...which is odd because I remember searching high and low for that in an actual store.

I actually really like the FF album (obviously). It clicked with me. Was before my wife and I got married, she was still in college and remember playing it loudly in my apt some evenings. I dunno why it clicked, it did though. I do acknowledge that a ton of people hate it though.

+1's for Times New Viking and Caribou.

Broadcast--Tender Buttons
Fiery Furnaces--EP
Edan--Beauty and the Beat
Electrelane--Axes
The White Stripes--Get Behind Me Satan
Sleater-Kinney--The Woods

I know the Fiery Furnaces record is technically an EP, but it's over 40 mins long...and I think it's amazing.

Twin Cinema is solid but for me, they never made a full album as good as "Mass Romantic".

As for Sufjan, I liked Illinoise the first time, when it was called "Michigan".

I can't believe these haven't been mentioned:

All the rest of the albums from 2005.

16 posts, 6 albums each, we should've had it covered.
