So I LOVE: The Raveonettes, Dum Dum Girls, Vivian Girls, Best Coast, Cults, Nancy Sinatra, and about to download some Bleached & Beach House....

Give me some other bands in this vein....From the 50's all the way to today is fine....More interested in the darker Raveonettes sound, the sunny poppy Best Coast type sound is great as well....

still, probably my favorite song of the last 10 years...

Hmm, how about The Aislers Set, perhaps? They released 3 albums and a bunch of singles in the late 90s early 00s. On the poppy side.

Well, this isn't quite dream/noise, but this is the first thing that came to mind. And, honestly, I think that you will dig this song with a big shovel.

I know nothing else by or about the band, but this song kills me every time. Hope you dig.

EDIT:
Apparently not much there to talk about. Bummer.

Then, there's the obvious: Breeders/Amps Kim Deal projects.

Yay.....This is exactly the sound I am looking for! Gonna 'hear' the records first, then buy em!
Praying I can find a compilation for all those dang singles they seem to have!

I like it....funny, given my pedigree, it's a little more rocking then what I am hoping to find more of in this genre, but I'll have this on my ipod by end of the night....great vocals...

Love the Pixies to death....Love anything that Frank Black pretty much signs his name too....I had this Amps record back in the day and I still may have it somewhere....I like it, but still very Pixie-esque, while a good thing, not fitting the mold.....

I know that I'm coming up with some obvious ones, but sometimes those are the most-easily overlooked.

See, when you say female-fronted noise pop this is exactly the kind of thing that comes to mind for me. Sorry about that.

How about Jenny Lewis/Rilo Kiley?
Some if it gets a little country, but the RK stuff is more along the lines of what you are looking for, I think.

I like Rilo & Jenny stuff....little more straighforward pop to my ears...
kind of a more folkie Letters to Cleo / Kay Hanley, who I adore btw.

I assume you're already aware of Lush, Belly, and Cocteau Twins?

Colleen Green released a new album this year called Sock It To Me. I'm still undecided on it but it might be up your alley.

Lush I like, but more on the shoe-gazee side...

Belly...oh the crush I still have on Tanya Donnely to this day.......i still occasionally have fantasies of killing her husband and dragging her to a desert island with me....Don't tell my wife, but my ex-gf and I had sex while listening to 'King' hundreds of times....

Cocteau Twins, little too wimpy for my ears.....oddly enough...

I wouldn't call Coathangers dream pop in a million years, but that last record was so good.

This album is quite the snoozer. One songs blends into the next and nothing really sticks.

I only have invested in one listen so far, but in general , I agree somewhat with the genre repeating itself over and over...That's why I'm looking for growth....of the bands I listed above, only the Raveonettes (IMO) have been able to connsistently morph and grow from song to song and album to album....

Can't answer your question but this might interest you:
It's something I heard yesterday on NPR yesterday about up and coming all female/ female-led rock and pop bands.
