Oh god... now even when I try to schedule it for 10 PM tonight... I get a "Temporary server error" from Yahoo.

10 was full... I got a 10:15 PM... I think Yahoo's server fucked up. Because when I logged in 30 minutes ago, it still had a countdown clock for our "live draft" to start at 8 PM. Then, at 7:40 PM, it changed to "Autosave Draft"

Same here but would rather get it done tonight. I think the 3 other guys I've recruited are fine for later tonight as well.

Got an email from Yahoo... "Hello,

Unfortunately, we were unable to draft players into your league (Obner 2014) due to technical difficulties.

We have changed your league to an Autopick draft and set your status to Not Ready. You can either choose a new live draft time or set your status to Ready and have us draft your league. See the rules for more information."

What a crock of shit. Anyway... as long as it doesn't happen again, we'll do it for real at 10:15 PM tonight. Sorry for all the problems.

If I can make a small suggestion:
I'd switch draft pick time to 1 minute rather than 1:15. just to get to bed a little earlier.

I'd love to do that. But Yahoo only allows you to set the draft time for a minimum of two hours away.

I just got another email from Yahoo... aplologizing for the technical difficulties with our draft. They said they reset it for 10 PM, but when I look at the main page, it still says 10:15 PM. What a mess. I'd suggest to be ready to go around 10:00 PM in case Yahoo just moves our draft unexpectedly.

Unbelievable.

I logged in to our team page this morning to make sure everything was okay. Good thing I did, because Yahoo fucked it up yet again.

Our draft results were discarded and our respective rosters emptied.

After corresponding with Yahoo about it. I'm going to have to manually go in and put players on the proper team based on the matchup screens that (for some reason) weren't erased.

In the meantime, please don't try to add or drop players, as that will just screw things up even more.

I'll let you know when all of our rosters are properly set based on last night's draft.

Ugh.

While I'm printing out copies of the rosters on the matchup screens (I only got one done), they all go empty. Fuck Yahoo at this point.

I just posted a message on the League Page. I have still not heard back from Yahoo after the latest debacle (of many!).

If they say we have no choice but to redraft, I think I'm just going to delete the league, or transfer the Commissioner role to someone else.

This is ridiculous.

Yeah, I thought about switching to a different site for the league, but i'm thinking, yes, that would be too much of a hassle.

The plan is to redraft tonight at 10 PM Central time, still using the existing Yahoo league. If it screws up again this time, well, it'll be too late to do anything else anyway, as the first game in on Thursday.

Well, it looks like my ingenious plans of using Yahoo's crappy servers so we would have to scramble to draft and then RE-DRAFT have paid off! :wink:

After sneaking into the playoffs as a #5 seed, I got really lucky with my opposing team's QB's having bad games when I played against them.

I'll post my CD options before the end of the year. And I'll post my address on the League page at the same time as I make my CD picks.

Hey, my brother won the league last season but never posted a list of albums. So just plan on not getting a CD from him (Pete Carroline) this year and call it even.
