The draft is currently scheduled for Wednesday 9/2 at 9 p.m. EDT. The losers all send the winner a CD of their choice.

So is this a no-go? Who are the 6 signed up so far? Me and my 2 co-workers, husker, ToK and Shaden? Jericho and Odds going to sign up? I'm still trying to get bbuffalo to sign up.

If we can get to 8 I'd still be game.

If we don't have an even number of teams, we won't be able to draft tonight.

We currently have 7 teams, and I don't want less than 8, so we need to have one more join before 8:00 PM Central Time tonight. Otherwise, we will postpone the draft until we have 8 teams.

I'm coaching my son's flag football team this evening from 6-7 Central time, so I won't be logging into Yahoo Sports until about 7:30. If we still don't have 8 players by then, I'll postpone the draft.

I've got an 8th. I'll send him the link. If we can get 2 more that'd be even better.

Cool... yeah, it'd be nice to have 10, but I'm good with going ahead with the draft now at 8 teams.

So one of my recruits signed up to bring us to 8. Now another one is trying to sign up but it won't let him---says since he's not a returning owner the commissioner needs to open the league for him. I did warn him that if he's the 9th and a 10th doesn't sign up then he'll have to drop out.

Can you adjust the settings to allow him to join?

Nevermind. Too late to get him in the league, and we don't have a 10th drafter anyway.

Not a big deal---he couldn't have participated anyway without a 10th player.

Hope my Seahawks can do the same in the NFL this season--looks like they'll be playing the Pack in the WC round after getting manhandled by the Ram's front 7 yesterday.
