Yup.
We have an edition from around 2005 or so that's sitting in our kids' bathroom.

I believe I am going off the 2011 edition. Starting at the earliest albums so this week it's been Sinatra, Elvis, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, The Crickets, Fats Domino, Louis Prima, and The Louvin Brothers.

Pretty sure I've never heard this before, but I like it. So out of the first 36 albums on this 1001 list that's 2 albums that count as new/good discoveries (the first being Sabu's Palo Congo)

How are you liking the new Klaus?

I had a sweet TIM t-shirt delivered last week.

I've only given it one listen so far, but I do like it. Very much in the same vein as what I was hearing on the single he released last year. Stereolab-esque krautrock/psych. But a bit spacier.
I'll report back as I give it more listens.

And also, this mix, put together by the members of Fumaça Preta:

lots of African jazz and funky, cool, off-beat stuff.
