I liked the album a lot before but seeing the new songs live really enhanced them for me. I don't think its their best album in 10 years (as stated by a critic I really like, Steven Hyden) but I really try to enjoy each new album for what it is rather than comparing it to my favorite version of the band when I first got into them. Speaking of which, there was supposed to be a second album ready to go that was recorded at the same time as The Waterfall, so wondering if that will be released before the summer and they hit the festivals. |
