I know she hadn't posted here in ages (neither have I), but I saw on Facebook that she passed away last month. :( :(

RIP lady. At least I've got that Marlowe record.

No idea. Not much detail on her wall. She just missed her 41st birthday.

Such sad news. She was a very sweet soul. I'm very sad that I lost touch with her after leaving Montreal. Thanks to Obner for introducing me to Alex.

Pouring out a... post on an internet music board in your honor, pollysix. Rest in peace.

sad to hear about this, she inspired my delving into dub reggae way beyond the King Tubby, Scratch Perry guys, many thanks, she showed a wide eyed wholehearted love and interest for music

First time I met her she was spinning dub at a Montreal bar. I can't remember if that was the first time I met her, or if I already knew her through Obner...

I hate hearing about dead people especially people that I have come to know. It makes me feel old and vulnerable.

Good things can come from vulnerability. Maybe there's a nice way we can memorialize our friend pollysix.

I just remembered, I'll remember her for introducing me to the wonderful music of Paula Frazer. https://youtu.be/ybxJJCMY-o8
