Since I don't really believe in lists or in some sort of objective "best," I don't do best of lists, but I do like digging out what my favorite new releases are 9in 2017; the stuff I listen to the most, really. So yeah, here they are, rough groupings and trying not to get overly long.

Electronic
Carl Craig: Versus
Kettenkarussell: Insecurity Guard
Shinichi Atobe: From The Heart, It's A Start, A Work Of Art

Ambient
Visable Cloaks: Reassemblage & Lex (EP)
V/A: mono no aware
Ryuichi Sakamoto: async.

Rockabilly
The Guitaraculas: Preachers Of The Night
Doyley & The Twanglords: Twang Solo
The Bad Breed: Snake Girl

R&B
Sampha: Process
SZA: Ctrl.

Rock
Moon Duo: Occult Architecture Vol. 2
SQÜRL: EP #260
Chuck Berry: Chuck
Queens of the Stone Age: Villians
Beach Fossils: Somersault

Jazz
Yazz Ahmed: La Saboteuse
Josef Leimberg: Astral Progressions

Hip Hop
Migos: Culture
Kendrick Lamar:Damn.
2 Chainz: Pretty Girls Like Trap Music

Tapes
V/A: Styles for Relaxation
Seph & Morgan: Teamwork
V/A: Sensate Silk
Khotin: New Tab

Reissues
Chancha Vía Circuito: Río Arriba
Alice Coltrane: The Ecstatic Music Of Alice Coltrane Turiyasangitananda
Marcello Giombini: Computer Disco
Kraftwerk: 3D live

Reggae/Dancehall
Equiknoxx: Colón Man
Chronixx: Chronology
Alborosie: Freedom In Dub

If I had to pick a single favorite, quite likely I'd go with Equiknoxx: Colón Man, my favorite reggae group to get widely released in quite a while. Their Bird Sound Power release last year was a big favorite as well. SZA: Ctrl. may be the most played of the bunch though as it seems to fit my mood very often these days.

Nice wide-ranging list.
I'll check out your playlist ASAP. I'm intrigued.

How many new rockabilly albums did you hear in 2017?

I lump all that rockabilly, surf, retro stuff together. And you may be surprised, a ton of it comes out each year. I haven't listened to tons of full albums, but browsing around and listening to a few songs off this and that to pick what I like best, I go through a good number. One of those genres I never really tire of and always go back to. Satan's Pilgrims: Sinestro was really good this year too, forgot to mention that one.
