i really don't get it. what happened to these guys? it's like they've decided that european funk bands really get that bland neo-soul sound that southern california really requires and then topped it off with the steve vai-esque level of pointless flourish in the lyrics. i used to like these guys a lot 10 years ago. |

yeah it's kinda depressing. the one song i've heard (and you know my feelings on tha lifesavas) was lacklustre at best. Are the poets of Rhythm on this one? that might actually be a redeeming quality... |

lifesavas does nothing for me, and as I told crack the other day, I think they have three fans, two of whom are blackalicious. i can't decide if the other one is lateef. so is Del's new album gonna be on Roadrunner? g. love? are you TRYING to give me an aneurysm? |

contradiction said that this album was pretty good, but everything else has said it's absolute trash. Maybe I'll download it, but I probably won't buy it without hearing anything due to the universal hate. |
