The south has been producing some of my favorite hip-hop albums of the year so far. First it was Juvenile's Reality Check, then T.I.'s King.

Slow to the party, but I picked this up tonight used, and damn. All the hype I've read is completely warrented. I'm digging it.

The first couple songs are great, then there's a slight dropoff beginning with that song with Jamie Foxx and then it's pretty mediocre after like track 10.

No way. Some of the best songs appear after track 10.

Undertaker
You Know Who
Bankhead

I can't remember anything about those tracks besides the chorus of Undertaker.

*i like 'stand up guy' (swiss beats had redeemed himself. his shit is too overdone and gives me headaches usually. i guess thats the point)
*too much filler
*some great beats
*2-3 amazing beats obv
*t.i. rappin below par compared to trap muzik etc. (too much mumbling and drawling), he wraps the beat well on 'what you know' tho, still it gets tiring after a while, compared to say his wrappin on "ASAP" for instance, which is word-perfect on the beat.

whatever said and done just blaze has got the best synth sound in motion. shit is scary on 'i'm talking to you' (similiar to 'bread n butter' if you no what i am talkin about)

this analysis is over :]

Stand Up Guy, I thought was in contention for worst track, but now I really love it for some reason.

I like the fact that he switches up the flow from song to song. "What you know" is FUCKING HOTT LIKE FIRE.

And Bankhead is the sleeper track..I like the way they sound like they on sizzurp in the chorus.

I doubt a rap album this year will approach this (and yes, I am fully awar that you dolts have 172676 responses in that Ghostface thread)
