been pretty bored with hip hop this year

Fishscale was good, I liked that Spank Rock album. New TI was alright i guess. Want to listen to Keak Da Sneak's new album. Looking forward to Dj Shadow's new album.

i love busta but the big bang is strangely back n forth (beats wise) i hate him for it

i mean, he should just stick to mindless hot beats rather than this new york revival stuff

dre is so on form here tho, it hurts. scintillating, even

It too miss the crazy futuristic beats from his previous albums, but every song on The Big Bang is so f'n hot that I'm kinda glad that he went in a new direction.

With a first half with heavies like TI, Busta, and Fishscale, etc...2006 is shaping up to be an amazing year for hip hop. A few will probably hit my top 10. Fishscale made a run at top 5 but has been neglected slighted. Spank Rock has been one of my treasured finds. Mr. Lif's album is intriguing and might creep up. J Dilla has a strong possibility of top 10.
