i forget if these are 90 or 89

but

brand nubian - one for all
my favorite rap album of all time. funny lyrics right next to smart lyrics, and up tempo amazing beats. the songs that sounded slow back then are actually pretty fast.

lord finesse - funky technician
classic sample style beats, the classic new york sound. early scratch work by Primo. The lyrics are amazing, every line is a perfect punchline. plus AG when he's like 17 years old.

Something from "People's INstinctive Travels"
Big Daddy Kane -- I get the job done
DOC - The Grand Finale

I could come up with more, and will try again later.
