Haven't listened to it yet, but I picked it up. Had a bitch of a time finding it around here though. Most of the chains didn't have it (surprise...), and hell, even a few small(er) places didn't get it in either. Wonder if distro was wonky.

most of the rapping is sub-par, most of the beats are excellent. its not the best hip hop of the year (as some people claim)...altho i don't rightly know what is (probably the new roots).

Have listened to this a few times now. Its quite short for my liking. I thirst for more. I agree with C about the subpar spitting, but then the beats are so complex, can you blame an MC for being clueless? This is a nice companion piece to Donuts, but it seems more like a tour EP than an actual full-on album. Still though, I love it to pieces.

Should I get this instead of Donuts then?

noooooo! donuts is way more enjoyable imho, you don't have to like it in spite of the third-rate rapping.
