Anyone heard anything about him or by him? He is the MC that does stuff on Aqua Team Hunger Force. My friend just gave me a copy of Eating's Not Cheating. It's pretty funny.

MC Chris was the voice of one of the characters in the first season of Aqua Teen (rapping spider I think).

he's mc pee-pants, amongst other things. he's funny enough, like if paul barman could relax for a second. he's playing here (shit, maybe today, who knows), but i don't know if i could sit through it for very long.

yeah I can't imagine you not cracking your own skull open by the third song. It's funny for awhile, though. His best song is still Fett's Vette.
Note: He's also the voice of Hash on Sealab, though 've heard he's moved away from the Cartoon Network crowd.

i have all 3 of his releases. they rule. basically he does everything that every uber-witty, nasally, white rapper/nerd does but he does it better and funnier. Fett's Vette is awesome, but on his later releases he's got more impressive beats and melodies (some of which i think were done by this guy Andrew who was in a cool band called Attention Deficit) and his songs would actually be pretty big mainstream hits if they weren't so odd (and curse-filled)

Give him this, the man's got balls: Why else would he kick off a song "My Name Is" with the line "Name is MC, I'm like no other/ A short-sized high-pitched white-skinned brother"? Maybe it's because he knows Eminem comparisons, while superficially apt, are nevertheless ridiculous.

For starters, Chris Ward is a nerd ("I met you on Friendster" goes the album's love song). His name’s been in the credits of Aqua Teen and Sealab 2021 and other shows from the Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim line-up. He's completely sex-obsessed and truly funny, and his lyrics stay tight but his "flow" be questionable. Ward sounds more like MC Paul Barman to me, and only Prince Paul's beats beat DJ John Fewell's coming and going (duh, the latter made his "on a Mac in Spanish Harlem”).

So even when the music doesn't connect (which is surprisingly rare, actually), the jokes keep coming. He plays Mario Kart with Wesley Clark, fills up her spaces like Mad Libs, packs his "humidors filled with stogies filled with dro/ like 90210 is filled with the word bro." He's too funny to stay unsigned forever, or maybe he's so funny (novelty! novelty!) he never will get that deal. But let's hope he doesn't stop trying.
