If I like:

Outkast - Hey Ya
Black Eyed Peas - Let's get Started

The more poppy and dancy the hip-hop the better.
The wife is looking for some upbeat energetic music and frankly I am too!

Help.

Before I start downloading this stuff, is any of it have parental advisory lyrics? I'd like to be able to play it around my son, as he loves to dance along with us.

Peanutbutter Wolf is nice as well

If you liked Blazing Arrow, you might enjoy Gift of Gab's solo record as well. However, Nia is a genuine classic so that should be your top priority at the moment.

Also worth noting:

Hieroglyphics - Third Eye Vision
DJ Quik - Balance & Options
Busta Rhymes - Genesis
LL Cool J - The Definition
