This is local hip hop for me, but it's definitely receiving a lot of attention outside of Chicago, a lot of people are calling it one of the best releases of the year. This is Qwel(who released a phenomonal album this year The Harvest with DJ Maker), Denizen Kane, and Qwazaar along with DJ Natural. I just picked up the album today and it instantly struck me as awesome. Probably one of the top 3 hip hop albums released this year. I actually think I might like Qwel's release a little more(too early to tell really), but you all need to check this album out.

I've bought a bunch of stuff in the past week or so and I've probably listened to hte Typical Cats record the most out of it. I think the Qwel album is better though, still. I've had that one for a few months though, still listen to it a few times a week. you can order straight from galapagos4.com
