With The Preface, Tronic and Caltroit under his belt, does anyone else even come close to being considered producer of the year?

Love his beats, there aren't as many good tracks on here as there were on Popular Demand though...

Pick up Elzhi's solo album, and then check out some of the other albums that Black Milk did a handful of tracks on such as Caltroit, Phat Kat's Carte Blanche and Slum Village's Detroit Deli.

Do you really dislike everything by Slum Village? Many people love Fantastic Vol. 2, but Trinity is considered to be garbage by even their biggest supporters.

And to answer your question, you shouldn't avoid Tronic. It doesn't really sound like a Slum Village album, and it's actually a departure from Black Milk's recent production work.

i have fantastic vol 2, and while it's nice, it's a good example of what i don't want in my rap album. but i'll check this out.
