why waste 70 mins listening to his whole album when thats all he says

Because sometimes I listen to an album for a combination of the music, what they say and how they say it. If I listened to music simply to get deep insights from lyrics, I'd probably have to wipe out half of my collection. I like 50's personality and the way he strings his lyrics together and sometimes those are good enough reasons to listen to an artist. If I want politics in my hip-hop, I'll head over to the Public Enemy section of my collection.

50 and Banks allegedly wrote the whole game album.

lets see how good the game is without G Unit

and 50 has always done a singy rap style from his earliest mix tape stuff.

Who knows if that is true? I am not going to dispute it with some if the shit I was hearing over at allhiphop.com. But the Game's album (his writing or not) is decidedly better.

i'm not sure it's true, but all the best songs have 50 on them and in the chorus.

i can see people who did not like get rich.. also hating this album, but i think those that liked get rich... will like this one. based on all the internet chatter i thought this album was going to be horrendous. i found it to be quite the opposite. still pretty street and it has 5 songs that bang which is more than what can be said for most albums. it does have a few clunkers but overall it's a strong album.

regarding the 50 and game stuff, the best tracks on the game album have 50 on them. and all the big commercial hits have 50 on them. i think game is pretty good, but 50 makes a lot of those songs work and he's got a knack for making catchy hooks.

exactly, 50 himself says "i may not be the best rapper, but i make great songs" and i have to agree, his hooks make or break songs.

i don't listen to the radio, so unless they play it in between segments on the RR/RW Guantlet 2, i think that i can avoid it.

Yeah, because when the next single flops they'll rush out another one like they did with "Candy Shop" after "Disco Inferno"

disco inferno is number 5 on the singles chart, and all told 50 has 5 songs in the top 15.

I know, I just felt like giving you shit. It just seemed like disco inferno had far less of a buzz and they kind of rushed candy shop out..

probably because disco inferno is just a half assed "on fire" the first 30 times you hear it. but now i like it much more than "on fire"

I have not heard a single note off of this album, nor do I care to. Get Rich had exactly one good song, and even that was more "good in the sense that you like making fun of how jamky it is, but it has a tight beat": In Da Club.

That sing song shiy sucks the crap out of my dirty asshole.

this album should have been called "got rich and stopped trying". "baltimore love thang" is the best song on the album. sadly, on the grand scale of concept songs, its hella average.
