he's one of those guys where, whenever i hear a song of his, i like it but not enough to have something stick. his first single used the Soho "hot music" break and it thumped. i've heard really good things about his last one but he's got that Roots Manuva level of reggae influence that in this case disuades me from picking up an album.

the song he won junos for "crabbukkit" is garbage. his new single "the man i used to be" is pretty cool though.
overall, pretty blah and uninteresting

I like him, very diverse stuff, some of his tracks are a little too reggae-pop (crucial)for my taste, some acoustic guitar touches on tracks like heaven only knows, but tracks like b-boy stance, and fantastique, are worth giving a listen

He's pretty cheesy and serious when he's cheesy, which irks me. But the newest album is still decent and I'm somewhat of a fan.
