i always thought that line about common was refering to Jay wishing his subject matter was like commons, not his flow or skills. (i assume we are talking about the same lyrical shout out to common)

and on that i sort of agree.

i just listened to the actual album and the version of Food is the bad ass one, I don't know which whack ass one i downloaded

"It's Your World" is so fucking cheesy though

I don't like the way he phrases things, and his voice though unique is grating to me.

good album. i haven't heard much hip-hop this year, but definitely... common > the game (which WAS my fav rap album of the year so far, which speaks to how little i've heard.) kinda reminds me of nas a little.
