Jesus bort. I dont' recognize a single band on there. Color me intrigued.

2 questions:

1) What is TEH PONX?

2) Is there a musical theme here or genre?

Only recognizing the Bronx, I believe this to be a punk mix. Bort to confirm.

1 - teh ponx are punks that are very pro-punk. there is a massive ongoing debate as to whether they should be upped, downed, or have their ponxness remain the same. i don't quite understand it myself.

2 - this is all punk rock. on the harder, edgier edge, though i find these songs to be most accessible of the current crop. vol. 2 is forthcoming with the copyrights, dillinger 4, paint it back, latterman...if that helps.

I haven't heard of any of these bands. Nicely done, bort.

Came across my burned version of this comp while digging through stacks of comps a while back, so I pulled it out and gave it another listen. It's a lot of fun, and some of the bands I will definitely look into further. Thanks.

Cool. Delay and Banner Pilot have new albums this year though i've yet to hear them. Ergs and Hunchback are done (unfortunately) but the new bands that have come from the ashes (Psyched To Die and Night Birds) are pretty sweet.
