I don't think that you understand why Mims is so hot.

I mean, you're right. I do like the beat when it's played mad loud, but this was really sort of a joke because I asked a much younger friend a few weeks ago who was Mims and why is he so hot.

Do what you want, but know that doom isn't actually on those remixes. And they slay.

This party was really an attempt to be all things to a bunch of white peeps, some with kids. I probably could have used more van Morrison but hey it ain't a weddin'.

Gracias. Unfortunately it's that time of year where everybody has somewhere to be or go to (weddings, festivals, family shit etc.) so it will be pretty low key which to tell you the truth is fine by me. Plus we don't have enough furniture yet to accommodate a huge throng in front of the TV.

Did I tell you that we hung a 12 x 9 drop cloth against the house and showed Ghost Rider on it? I can't wait for the world series or something.

somehow I left Wendy Rene's "Bar-b-Que" off this. That may have to be rectified.

You are absolutely right, I just like keeping things clear on the old soul front. I had the husbands version on the mix originally.
