Yeah, "slow" and "monger" don't really hook up well in a sentence unless there's a negative in it somewhere. I've got about three tunes picked out for the slow thing, it's gonna take a while for this one. I would think the Luke Doucet would fit this bill rather well.

Holy shit, it's been a long time since I saw that name. I knew she was still around, but I hadn't seen/heard her since her Jody Grind incarnation. Wow.

Songs like "Its Not Enough" by The Heartbreakers or "Locked Away" by Keef+X-Pensive Winos or "Lonely Planet Boy" by The Dolls.

A lot of the songs on the mix I posted could or could not qualify, depending on if you think wallowing in drunken depression is mongerous or not. I happen to vote yes.

Nice one! That's an album that begs for a remastering and a re-release. Some of Bailey's best post-Kuepper tunes on there, but they're all burdened with that echoed '80s drum sound. Plus it's another one of those albums with volume levels so low I can't include it on any mixes.

That's a great mix, Billz. I'll have to send something your way and trade for it. I think I'm falling behind on the swaps.

They played in one of the dining halls on campus when that record was out, opening for The Godfathers. That show was amazing, despite Chris Bailey suffering from the flu. I can still hear "Temple Of The Lord" from that show. Friggin' insulting that they could only get signed to TVT here.

And yeah, a three-way on this monger deal is definitely in order.
