do you ever have that nagging feeling that you just need to make a mix, even if there's no real theme involved? i get it all the time, but usually suppress it because i don't want to just churn something out for the sake of it. i hadn't done something in awhile and had a ton of songs sitting around that i wanted to hear in my car. so, this is the result. thanks. i'm actually not at all familiar with anything else of royksopp, so i can't say how alike it is to the repertoire. the remix is pretty faithful to the original, just puts a little more oomph on that infectious piano and slips in some neat effects here and there. the vocals are more or less left alone. i like it quite a bit. |
