4th installment of my monthly mix series. woohoo! This one is quite a bit different from the last two. If you remember, February and March had a sort of mystic, ambient feel for the most part. I tried to make them transport you, while retaining a reflection of new music I was listening to. Well folks, let me tell you...

that is gone from this one. My love for the loud has returned, and it comes in the form of songs that should be ruling radio and video charts. absent from this mix are the jazz and electronic tracks, replaced with good (hard to say) indie rock, hip hop, and some new stuff that showcases a return to form for some old favorites (ryan, bruce, and sufjan).

the fades aren't perfect again, but they work. i can't figure out why they don't sound as good as my february one, i have to tinker a little bit. overall, it's an album that should reassure you that there are songs that have a pop feel (or that are in fact, singles) that are still excellent. i like this one, you should too.
