I thought I'd introduce myself too. My name is Gary. I live in Baltimore. I had been checking out the CMJ board since I met Nicole and Tom, formerly of Come Down. I used to live with some of the guys in Imaginary Baseball League. I think this board is really cool because I've been wanting to branch out into some newer music and I have found a lot of posts really informative. Plus the hilarious ones and street teamer bashings are pretty entertaining too.

Some things about myself. I write a lot of music and I am in a couple of bands. I play bass, piano, guitar, and do some singing. I have the day job office thing. My favorite movie is Magnolia, my favorite TV show is Arrested Development. Some of my favorite bands are !!!, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Superdrag (especially the 2nd and 3rd albums), Elvis Costello & The Attractions, Whiskeytown, early Elton John, and The Stills. I am shamelessly addicted to really bad 80s music and videos.

Anyway, I think this board is awesome and I'd like to contribute to the community. Good to meet you all ...
