I used to subscribe to CMJ during the nineties, so that's how I found this board. I've lurked for a long time, searching for music to look into. I'm from New Orleans, so chalk another one on the list of Southern Obnerites. (Though I did call Chicago home for 6 years or so while I went to school on the southside and filled a cubicle on the northside before moving back down to the Dirty.) It's been a pleasure introducing myself to all of you. If I survive Mardi Gras, I may be back around soon. -Rousseau |

Things to make fun of: 1) Tom Waits can do no wrong in my book. 2) David Bowie can do no wrong except be covered by U2 3) Favorite album of '06 is probably TV on the Radio's release 4) Favorite album so far in '07 is CHYSY's new one. 5) I have a man-crush on the following: Bill Murray, Derrek Lee, Pete Doherty, and anyone who beats up Jared the Subway guy. 6) My username implies the rejection of a "rational" justification for democracy. 7) I like beer, etc. and am willing to share. |
