Hey, all.

I stumbled across you guys while googling a way to get my hands on Jason Isbell's "Whisper," and may have stepped on a few toes in the process. But, now that I've found myself back and actively reading, I might as well do things right.

I'm a 24 year old guy from Charlottesville, VA. My favorite bands are Wilco, Agents of Good Roots, Drive-By Truckers, Mike Doughty, and the Beatles, with Ryan Adams, the Roots, and Modern Groove Syndicate coming in right behind. I love sports (UVA in particular), politics, reading, writing, and general smartassery.

The artist I'd still most like to see is Paul McCartney, the band I'm listening to most right now is the Hold Steady, my first favorite band was Hootie and the Blowfish in sixth grade, recently I've been eating some sort of salsa every day, and my right ankle has almost gotten back to its normal size (fire ants - those guys are ridiculous).

Great to meet you. I keep a blog here: http://coornelius.blogspot.com

Welcome to the boards, coor.
Judging by your name I was gonna guess you were from CO.
Nice to meet you.

No better way for Sean to go out - we needed a win like that in this ugly season we're having.

Thanks for the welcome.

Hello again!

I actually thought you were a fan of Cornelius, who I totally dig.

I dig him, too.

I will forgive the Wilco and M Doughty stuff, as most of the above would indicate you are a good addition

Welcome. You should fit right in with yr musical tastes. I'm a huge Wilco fan myself. Did you get a chance to see them on their current tour?

Oh man, yeah - I caught the five night Chicago residency. Some of the coolest shows I've ever seen. Loved it.

Right on. I got to the second night at the 9:30 Club in DC. Seen 'em a bunch of times, plus solo.

Coornelius? Like Dr. Zera's hubby? He was cool.
If you like Paul McCartney, check out the little 3 year old Korean baby with a quitar on my talent blog:
