Well, actually my name is Chris, to be honest. I love music, always have, and gravitate towards others who love music, all tastes respected. I have a restaurant, which most benficially gives me the ability to turn people on to music I like (last week an old (+/-70's) lady asks me where she can buy some Thievery Corporation discs) downside is, its got to be acceptable for eating and what I call an 8-80 age range...so if sometimes I seem to be talking about soft stuff, you'll know why.The restaurant insures I always have food and booze, which is also a plus. I never wear shoes, 'cept if I am in the kitchen (health reasons, ya know) I drive a golf cart, my other car is a bike. I have a wife, she's bitchin'--in every sense of the word...I have two dogs. Other people's cats, like their children, are ok, but I have none of my own. I read alot, write some shit once in awhile. I take the boat out, do some diving, and I think when tourist season ends, I will take up kiteboarding. I used to live in Atlanta, Austin and St. Croix, USVI. Now I live in San Pedro, Belize. I am the younger guy with two fish, that's my dad with me, he's my greatest musical mentor and a helluva man. ( He fishes well, too, just an off day) I am a smart ass, and don't take things too seriously, so if I piss you off in some post, I was probably drunk, check the post time, see, late at night... I often outlet here all the BS real life hands us in reality... Came here after originally going to the boards at CMJ to see about a foreign subscription, like the way this board looks and runs, see ya around. Chris |

Hey Chris! Welcome to the Obner experience! Another chef, eh? Well, you're a REAL one! Although there are a few of us here who do a pretty fair job in the kitchen. (Check out epa's recipes sometime.) Me? I learned from a good friend of mine, and former roommate who is now the chef here: www.mkchicago.com . Do you have a site up for your place? I'd love to see the menu! Where did you study? Sounds like you're a true rennaisance man. You'll fit in well here. Welcome aboard! Todd |

I guess I should be checking this Introductions page out abit more often since I'm like a moderator and everything. Hi, Chris. As it happens I'm probably going to pick up that Thievery Corporation disc up today. |
