Personally, the only people I would feel comfortable as moderators would be FT and Aural Fixation. They seem pretty stable and have no obvious personality disorders.

Anybody else, I'd say no to for one reason or another.

Should I consider that a 2nd, rodney?

High level of toleration along with good common sense = good moderator.

i'll second aural fixation. she's online a lot, plus we need some female AND west coast representation.

Exactly what qualifications do both Jen and Todd have that they're put on this list?

Chris I really have no idea what your issues are other then I know you have suddenly been trying to piss off everyone in Chicago one way or another. And I don't just mean through the board.

So far, nominees are FT, Konstantinl, KPH, PopTodd, shmoo, Aural Fixation and Charli. The voting begins. I reserve veto power over anyone who turns out to be a shitty mod. You can only vote once, so pick your absolute favorite. Top 3 get it.

it may just be a lunatic we're looking for. i think any of those people would do a good job really...konstantin, aural, FT...FT isn't really on line all that much though. Charli would do fine as well as long as she isn't in a moody period.

Personally, I wouldn't want anybody from Chicago being a moderator since their motives are somehow always linked to their respective bands, labels, or fiances' bands.

I vote for Darrin, because he has experience and he's tough on pork barrel spending. Besides, I wouldn't know the first thing about moderating a board. I still refer to a laminated cheat sheet each morning to help me put on my pants properly.

I also second FT for a moderator as well, because he goes out of his way for the birthday threads, and keeping everyone in the loop through e-mails (when the board was down). That's dedication, man.
