I have been here since I heard about the obner charts from another person on the forum (MakesNoSenseAtAll). I haven't really posted in the forum at all though, because I didn't feel it was right without a proper introduction. I don't really ever know what to say so I suppose this is why it has taken me so long to introduce myself/post in the forum, but here I am. I came from CMJ but I didn't post that much on there while I was there, and I left a while ago because it just sort of died, obviously. But this forum seems promising and I really like the charts.

Oh well anyways, there's my introduction. I do not know what else to say, but if anyone cares to know anything else feel free to ask. 8)

Hey Elizabeth - glad to have you around. It's nice to see the charts pulling in new blood. Do you have a top 5 albums of the year list?

No, no top five albums yet. and yes, I live in a vagina. A gigantic sopping wet, hairy vagina. I just pictured that and i'm sure that would be pretty disgusting.

Ewwwww! Good thing, most of the guys here have 'obners' to satisfy the other.

Gee, with a visual like that, I'm not sure I know how to follow except to welcome you to our beloved home. Who ya been listening to these days? Who were you thrilled to see most recently or anticipate in seeing?

Hmm. Lately, or as always I have been listening to Tom Waits but my "obsession" has hit a low and i've moved on a little bit. I'm not so sure of what made me love him because I hated him when I first heard the song "The Piano Has Been Drinking(Not Me)". It's sort of like my relationship with baked beans, I had never tried them until last winter, yet I craved them. Very strange.
Anyways, it has been more Nick Cave (current and Birthday Party era as well), The Velvet Underground, Dinosaur Jr., The Slits, The Damned, Husker Du, etc.
I most recently saw Dinosaur Jr. at the 9:30 Club up in DC. I thought it was a great show and I managed to get a copy of the nights set list so I was happy.
Thanks for the welcome, by the way, to all of you.

Hello cemeterypolka!
It's funny that you should live in a vagina, for that is where I have always wanted to live!

Welcome to the OB.
I like your taste in music AND interior design.

Hi Elizabeth.

Anyone that likes The Slits certainly 'cut's (get it, eh eh) it with me!
