Maybe I'm not looking in the right area, but I didn't see the option to delete a thread or post if one is the threadstarter. If there isn't one, can there ?

Oh, what do you know. You're right. Once people start posting under you, the delete option goes away.

Is that so bad? You could always just ask a moderator... ;)

I suppose so or do it the old fashioned way and just edit the entire post. Thanks.

I can probably add the feature if everyone wants it, but this way threads that everyone was enjoying don't fall to the whim of the topic-starter (right, Chris? ;))

but what if we do a double post or say something ridiculously stupid and don't want to waste other people's time reading my post.

Edit: but if somone deletes posts in the middle of threads then the thread risks making no sense at all

posts are rarely deleted at all, let alone enough posts to completely throw the point of a thread out of wack.

I always delete my 2004 purchases list once I have updated and reposted it. I'd like to be able to delete the old one, because thats one less long ass list I have to scroll through.

Are you unable to delete posts in the middle of threads too?
